Bio

 

       I was born in raised in Kalamazoo MI. I am the son of an artist and a musician, James Madonia, who owned an advertising firm, Ad, Art, & Design as well as several galleries. Because of this, I grew up around art and artists, painting, sketching making sculptures, and I chose art as my major when I attended Central Michigan University. 

 

     Though I have focused more on music than art, art was my first love and I have made 1000s of drawings, paintings, murals and signs over the years as well as designing a lot of CD art for myself and friends. 

 

    As I become more mature (old), I find that I enjoy sitting down at my drawing board just as much as my piano, and though I will never quit writing, recording and performing, I am beginning to  feel my creative pendulum swing back a little towards the side of visual arts.
